JEWISH GENETIC DISEASES CENTER

MY ROLE: CREATIVE DIRECTOR

SERVICES: IDENTITY/ MARKETING/ PRINT/ DIGITAL

INDUSTRY: NON-PROFIT/ MEDICAL

HERE’S THE STORY: I ask questions. Probing deeper uncovers why a current design isn’t working as well as learning the clients’ genuine marketing needs. While I was initially asked to redesign a single donation card, my questions revealed a profound need for new strategy and branding.

WHAT STANDS OUT: After doing some research, I learned the Phoenix community didn’t relate to the Jewish Genetic Disease Center’s brand, and donations suffered. This is tough because 92% of their funds come from donors in the local community.

WHY I’M PROUD: I rebranded the nonprofit as well as redesigned their logo.  When the new brand launched, 232 individuals were screened for 19 genetic diseases, an increase from 164.5 in four years. Community support increased by 50% and donations increased by 75%. Oh and the donation card, it became last on the list.
